Throughout this module the main focus is the subject atmosphere of light and shadows within a space this is the first concept that I came up with out of the two. First I found myself highly influenced by the shadow self portraits of Vivian Maier this is the where my moment of inspiration started by looking at her work.  Reflecting on what I am interested in, which is the interest in details that are both subtle and noticeable as well the abstractions of the obvious.  I am also interested in Symbolisms & interpretations of what we can't see but that can be, by representation such as emotions, we can't see like emotion/ music are represented by something like symbolism & interpretations to make it easier to visually understand.

The work which developed in this module into a set of images with a visual narrative of Sanctuary and security within a personal place and in this space to explore the emotion of fear/uncertainty as well as tranquillity, sanctuary in this space, a response of space personal  and visually atmospheric/ dreamy surreal. This concept visually inspired by what I first research for this idea originally the intent was for it to me about a self portrait of journey the nature of light and the casting shadows but as I explored and was influenced by other work I researched I realised it has moved from that its develop. It is not a self portrait alike the works of Vivian and herself portraits using shadows, but the work that I have create is about my presence and the security as well as sanctuary within the space and the transience of the light and shadows, my presence and response to my emotions of sanctuary in the home environment.
